Time
I’ll be back in a minute.
Seems like a normal sentence heard often but, what is a minute worth?
For a person who is waiting for his result, it’s anxiety. For a person who’s doing a plank, a minute seems infinite. When a couple of college friends meet, a minute goes by in a flash. Why? Do we perceive it differently or is it really different? Maybe the relativity of time goes beyond just physics. Or maybe it’s just a phenomenon that continues forward at its set pace until you observe it.
Time is something we can’t perceive, yet we are afraid of it. Sometimes we fear how fast a minute goes by, sometimes we nudge it to go on faster.
Time is fleeting by. Right now too. How did the years go by? Which were the last 60 seconds I noticed? I swear I was 10 just yesterday.
And just as you read this through, a minute goes by.
